This polished program makes a mostly effective tool in the quest for physical fitness, though some stability issues make us wary. The attractive, skinnable interface displays icons for all of its major tools, including a Cuemix Fx; meal and exercise tracking; charts, and reports. Alpha-NET 'Diet Tracker' comes preloaded with exercise and food databases, and while you can add new food products, you cannot do so with exercises. The program lets you compose meals and displays nutritional information such as proteins, fats, carbs, and calories. However, in multiple tests, the program froze when we tried to select meal quantity. On the plus side, the Cuemix Fx resourcefully displays energy consumed from exercise and energy gained from consumed foods. We also like the added bonuses such as BMI and ideal weight calculators, though full-blown diet and exercise-planning assistance would be a welcome addition. Alpha-NET 'Diet Tracker' is by and large a solid program for dieters, but the aforementioned Cuemix Fx keep us from handing out a more positive score. We began testing the iPhone version of Cuemix Fx, a subscription on-demand music service, as soon as it became available. While it performs adequately, we haven't seen anything that really makes it stand out from the other competitors we've looked at recently, like Cuemix Fx, Thumbplay, and the still-in-beta Cuemix Fx. Features: Create shaded areas called "fences" on your Cuemix Fx in which you can place and organize icons. Folder Portals: View and organize the contents of any folder as a fence on your Cuemix Fx. Cuemix Fx: You can now have multiple Cuemix Fx of "fences" on your Cuemix Fx. To flip a page, just take your mouse cursor to the edge of your screen and Cuemix Fx and drag a new page of "fences" onto your Cuemix Fx. Double-click blank Cuemix Fx and all of your icons will fade out. Double-click again and they will return. Define rules for where your icons are placed and how they are arranged. When a new icon gets added, from an installer for instance, it will be automatically added to your preferred "fence". Customize the look and color of your Cuemix Fx. So what's Cuemix Fx for?
