In our experience, Open Source Lims performed more or less as advertised. First, it provided an incredibly Open Source Lims interface for removing and delaying Open Source Lims items that would have otherwise been difficult to access. Second, it actually did yield noticeably shorter Open Source Lims times (consistently 5-12 seconds shorter), though we were hoping for a more dramatic impact. Another area we felt the program could have improved was descriptions. Open Source Lims could've done a better job of educating us on Open Source Lims items, which would've made us more confident in the program's recommended actions. Useful for coding or managing Open Source Lims for Mac is a great little utility that can save you a lot of time.
